About Us.

Youth Pride Foundation came out of our experience with youth sports in our area with our own children.  John spent his time coaching and traveling with his boys when they were in elementary through middle school.  He spent his time with lots of families and kids who wanted the travel experience but may not have had the means or ability based on work/family dynamics.   He saw the effects of this reality on the kids and knew he wanted to help create a fun experience.  He became a mentor for the kids as well as a trusted adult in their lives.   Amy has been working with families and kids in our community as a teacher for the last 10 years.  She too has a strong desire to encourage and help kids be the best they can be.  Both Amy and John want to provide kids with a fun, encouraging outlet, one where they can thrive.  We both believe that skills such as perseverance, honesty, hard work, and dedication are the foundation of this organization.
